Confirmation by cooperator of one of the tours or stys listed in this brochure means that the cooperator agres with the conditions stated below. Further details can be settled in a separate Contract between PENINSULA TOURS and the cooperator.
PRICES: All the prices are quoted in US Dollars and net of all the commissions.
PAYMENT TERMS: Any confirmation of one of the programs means the obligation on the part of the cooperator to send PENINSULA TOURS the amount of foreign currency necessary to pay the travel expenses in Turkey. In accordance with Turkish Foreign Currency Regulations, all the payments to PENINSULA TOURS must be made in foreign currency. One month prior to arrival of each group a proforma invoice based on the estimated number of participants will be forwarded to the party concerned. As a rule 90 per cent of this estimated total amount should be remitted so that it reaches PENINSULA TOURS accounts latest 15 days prior to the arrival of the group. All outstanding amounts will be settled latest within one week after the groups s departure from Turkey. As for the long duration operations, upon bilateral agreement, payments can be arranged to be effected at regular intervals; final settlement of the accounts to follow the departure of the last group.
CANCELLATION TERMS: For tours, in which the majority of overnights fall in July and August, in case of cancellations, the following fees will be charged:
• Up to 30 dayþ prior to arrival; no cancellation charge
• 29-15 days prior to arrival; 25 percent of the total tour cost
• 14-08 days prior to arrival; 50 percent of the total tour cost
• 07-00 days prior to arrival; 75 percent of the total tour cost
DURATION OF TOUR: "the day of arrival" and "the day of Return" are included in the duration of the tour.
EXCURSIONS AND VISITS: PENINSULA TOURS disclaims any responsibility and shall not pay reimbursement or indemnity in the event that certain monuments included in the programs could not be visited, folloving a government decision or any reason beyond our powers.
HOTELS: In case of force majeure, PENINSULA TOURS may have to change the hotels previously announced. In this case PENINSULA TOURS shall not then be able to consider any claim or reimbursement in this respect.
INSURANCE: All the passengers on the tours should to be covered for the duration of their stay in Turkey by an insurance scheme drafted in their country of origin.
RESPONSIBILIITY OF THE PARTICIPANT: Any tour or stay interrupted or shortened, any service not utilized by the participant, for any reason whatsoever, shall not, in any case be indemnified.
RESPONSIBILITY OF PENINSULA TOURS: This manual is prepared by PENINSULA TOURS acting as an agent, one side the client and on the other side, the transporters, the hotel managements, and more generally all those who provide services. Consequently, PENINSULA TOURS shall not, in any case, be hold responsible for any accident, injury, delay, loss of or luggage and personal belongings. Similarly, PENINSULA TOURS cannot be hold responsible, and the participant cannot claim any indemnity, in the event of change in schedules or itineraries if these changes result from unforeseen events and/or if conditions make it advisable for the comfort and safety of the passengers.
